    Secrets for parenting
Since the 1920s developmental psychologists were interested concerning the parental influence within the development of children’s social and instrumental competence. In this field the most robust approach amongst all is the study of “parenting style”. From this write-up you'll be able to know concerning the definition of the parenting style, four sub divisions of it and also about the outcome of all these types on kids.

} Parental responsiveness and parental demandingness are two essential features of parenting. Parental responsiveness or parental supportiveness indicates “the extent to which parents intentionally foster individuality, self- regulation, and self assertion by becoming attuned, supportive, and acquiescent to children’s special needs and demands.”

In page number 62 from a book of Baumrind in 1991 said that the Authoritarian parents are very demanding and directive, but not that responsive. It also stated that "They are obedience- and status-oriented, and expect their orders to be obeyed without explanation." These parents provide well-ordered and structured environments with clearly stated rules. Authoritarian parents may be divided into two types: nonauthoritarian-directive, who are directive, but not intrusive or autocratic in their use of power, and authoritarian-directive, who are highly intrusive. In Baumrind’s book a proper explanation of the Authoritative parents is given. It said "They monitor and impart clear standards for their children’s conduct. They are assertive, but not intrusive and restrictive. Their disciplinary methods are supportive, instead of punitive. They want their children to be assertive also as socially responsible, and self-regulated also as cooperative."
